About Carter's Kids

“I founded Carter’s Kids in 2006 as a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization, whose mission is to encourage physical activity and to fight childhood obesity.

Since 2006, our Carter’s Kids team has built playgrounds in communities all over the United States. Each playground built is designed to be an important part of a child’s cognitive, social and physical development.

What we have learned is that each playground we build, not only is important in a child’s development, but also becomes an integral part of the community the playground is built for. A playground provides a place where the community shares a common space, where families gather and new friendships are made.

Each one of our playgrounds has been generously funded by a corporate partner. When a corporation funds a playground, they are giving a gift to the community that will last for 20 years and they also are showing the citizens of their community, that they value their customers.

Carter’s Kids is always looking to develop new corporate funding partners, so that we can continue to make a difference in communities all over the United States.

It’s been an amazing experience to be able to bring new playgrounds to communities throughout the United States. Thank you to everyone who has helped support our mission, it is greatly appreciated.”
