We’ve built many playgrounds across the country, and all of them are special. We meet such amazing people from the local communities that help us build them. And we get to see the joy in the kids as they use play on the structures we’ve built.
But the playground we built at Bert Groens Learning Center is one of our favorite. It’s the first playground we’ve built that focused especially on accessibility for children with special needs.
We brought in and constructed playground equipment that let kids swings, that have never swung before. We build an accessible zipline and more. It’s really an amazing playground and of course, we couldn’t do it without the amazing support of all our volunteers.
